Following the break-up of IBB mach one, Charles Amos and I started writing and recording new music in our friends basement. The result: A playful EP that got us signed to a label called Sol 3. Sol 3 was run by a producer named Richard Gottehrer. Gottehrer was known for starting Sire Records in the 70s, writing hits like My Boyfriend's Back and I Want Candy, producing The Go-Gos and Blondie.
